CHEF ROB RAMSHUR


Robert Ramshur is an accomplished chef with over 10 years of experience. His commitment to “localvorism” and sustainable cooking has earned him a reputation as a leader in the industry garnering recognition from top publications, including Food and Wine Magazine, Conde Nast Traveller, and Hawaiian Airlines Magazine.

As the Head Chef of Lineage, Rob was part of a team that earned numerous accolades including Best New Restaurant Maui in 2019 by Maui No Ka Oi Magazine, Best New Restaurant Hawaii by Honolulu Magazine, and being named a semifinalist in the James Beard Awards. Lineage also made the Bon Appetit Top 50 List for Best Restaurants in America in the same year.

In 2020, seeking to expanded his experience and push himself, Rob founded his own private chef business as well as a fermenting brand, Traveling Plum. These have coalesced into a new, refined cooking concept, Trade Craft. With a client list that includes the Silicon Valley elite, athletes, actors, artists, and other culture-makers, Trade Craft is set to push the boundaries of Hawaii cuisine.
